This has always been my struggle with labelling myself a feminist, it just seemed more aligned with white women gaining equality within the patriarchy not dismantling it and liberating ALL women.

I’m definitely more inclined to call myself a Womanist if anything else at all — outside of leading with my Blackness and being a Black woman.
