At the edge of eternity
a time for love
There is no time. There is only now.
If you meant to love someone yesterday — be sure to love them today. Otherwise, set them free — liberate them for eternity.
Loving on the edge
Do you remember the first time you told someone you were in love with them?
I felt nauseated by the butterflies fluttering around my guts. Add the endless chitter chatter from the drunken monkeys jumping around my mind — It’s a miracle I didn’t pass out.
I guess the feeling could be likened to jumping out of a plane, seemingly senseless — yet you do it anyway.
How much are you willing to risk on love?
It’s your naked vulnerability, in three little words.
‘I love you’
Falling down
The fall is a leap of faith — hoping your parachute does not fail.
There they were, three words breathed into life. Like lanterns, floating in the air between us.
A sense of panic built, more fluttering, more chitter chatter. The sense of falling, is making less and less sense. What’s more, I’m now falling at hyper speed — the ground is hurtling towards me in an unfriendly manner. That parachute, would be good right now.
I cross my arms in front of my face, in a swift Wakanda salute style.
I can’t slow down, I’m going to crash. Somehow, I don’t mind.
This feeling, this aliveness — this is why fools fall in love.
‘Aargghh!’
