this everyday love, so soft and powerful
understated, underrated
like all of the many everyday beautiful things are all at once
just a little, is a lot — is more than enough
but the tragedy of humanness — is being so desensitised to the everyday because it’s all around us, all of the time — like this invisible air filling our lungs cajoling our breaths, whilst we’re too busy to care
do we still recognise the beauty of the simple and the ordinary as daily miracles?
the stories of us, written every moment of every extraordinary day, just look how the night seems to fade away and we shine under the spotlight of the Sun once again
out of the ordinary — we rise like stardust
we’re ordinary people, like lighthouses finding a way, all people — every, single, day
a hand placed against a heartbeat, feels the power of thunder pumping inside our chests, we’re shaking up the world with every breath, I’ll admit to being impressed with how we’re chanced to express
this everyday love, we know so well, we drink in the stars like water, intoxicated on a cocktail of Ocean and sky, we drink in that good love til we die, drunk on life, we barely recognise — the Universe of us, the simple, the beautiful, this everyday love
