Hey there Tracy, thank you loads for reading and sharing your thoughts… I agree. That’s the basic premise of the piece, that ‘a woman like me’ (meant to be a bold statement of womanhood, not a damning one) like any woman — does not need to be saved by a man, even if in low moments, she might think she does for awhile. Hence the ending, she finds she is already home in her own bones. 🌻
