Hmm, I was called that all the time on my one visit to Nigeria… I still get called that by elder Nigerians here in London.

Personally, I apply the same ethos/rules I have towards the use of the ‘N’ word or the B word, if you’re of the same race/cultural/sexual group… it’s a very different weight to the term… so a man calling me a Bitch or a person who is not Black calling me Blacky — is a straight no no.
