I put on my travelling shoes, ready for the journey to the centre of you

my fingertips start to navigate your brown skin

picking up traces of stardust that hint at a Universe residing beneath your melanin

in your eyes — I reach in for the stars, mapping out your constellations, stories that tell me the essence of who you are

flesh seasoned with love and light, aching warrior bones, a soul seated upon a throne

a spirit simmering like a volcano, a mind full of conscience streaming, awakened dreaming

that something unconditional in your heartbeat, a love revolution — your philosophy

precious secrets unfold, the fragrance of your aura intoxicates — entwining with mine, you take my hand to hold

your touch invigorates — like the breeze of a summers night blowing through my mind

your scent is like the Sea, I deep dive and breathe in the beginnings of you and me
