Light rain
Like desert rain — light pours from your skin
I wake up submerged in the middle of the Ocean
every breath threatens to drown me — as the night covers me with its careless whispers
I am as full as the moon with insecurity, intent on permanently anchoring me with restlessness to the Oceans bed — with tales of woe on repeat
but, what matters now — matters most somehow
these words — this lonely water, this love, the steely will of this wretched heart — to beat again throughout unannounced adversity
the twinkle from the furthest star at the edge of my gaze, reminding me that there is no boundary between my inner space — filled with both wild and peace, endless possibilities — and the Universe
there is no gravity — I am groundless, falling up — free to captain my untamed soul
