🤔… Nate Miller , I’m certainly not going to yell at you — but I’m going to strongly disagree with you and this fellas quote.
What is the goal of a photograph?
IMHO, it is to capture some semblance of life… whatever the subject matter — it’s all an element of life. Photography and hyperrealism, it’s all art… right? Pick your preference, cool beans. Hyperrealism artists draw from photographs or direct from life, just like a ‘conventional’ painter may photograph the sunset so they can continue working on their painting at all hours… or compose straight from their imagination.
If you claim it’s meaningless, then you must know that that statement itself can also be called meaningless.
It’s all an expression of life. *shrugs shoulders* 🌻
