One Cold Night

A poem

One cold night she fell asleep
her breaths ran out, heart could not beat

The brokenhearted must start again
their world still turns, life did not end

The hurt inside can’t be defined
seasons change, the stars still shine

We’re half awake and half asleep
we’re moments missed, we’re memories

One cold night she fell asleep
her breaths ran out, heart could not beat
