It’s all too typical that the way we oppose/resist/fight racism — is what is highlighted, like nevermind the actual oppression of racism… let’s focus on the fact that we don’t all want to sit in a circle singing kumbaya with you until we get a resolution. Nah. ‘By any means necessary’ folks really need to take the time to understand that Malcolm X quote, not immediately assume it is just an advocation of violence.
