The wild, wild Universe

Poetry

‘the Universe peoples’, wild and free

fashioned from stardust, you and me

billions of hearts, skip and beat

as the Sun shines, so effortlessly

flowers in fro’s, are meant to be

dancing in moonlight, swaying tenderly

the heat of the nights, summer breeze

Poetry bleeds, delicately

the wind carries, breaths of life

thunder rumbles, lightning strikes

raindrops and rainbows, reign from high

ribbon the sky, with scents of light

shake the world, hear it roar

watch us, break the dawn once more

set the fires, let them burn

twist tongues, that never learn

broken souls, beautiful nightmares

say something, then stand and stare

implore the chaos, let it rain

restless minds, dream in hurricanes

like fish out of water, Oceans deep

we have no roots, but plant our seeds

sour honey, tastes like fear
