Wow Sam, you are on fire 🔥 right now! As you said, the case for reparations — is beyond clear. What is also clear, is the opposition to it. The powers that be no doubt feel the case is closed, and moreover that it was dealt with way back then by the ‘gift’ of 40 acres and a mule after the abolition of slavery… meanwhile, slave owners/traders were financially compensated for loss of earnings… it’s all too easy to see what is wrong with that picture.

I have no further suggestions to add to your comprehensive list at this time Sam, I will add my gratitude and support to Congress woman Sheila Jackson Lee for bringing about the legislation towards a commission.
